How do I enter the Texas Fine Craft Show?
Entrance to the Texas Fine Craft show will be through the lobby of The Westin Hotel, and then down the escalator to the downstairs ballroom. Elevators are available for downstairs access as well.

Where should I park?
Complimentary parking is available at Waterway Square Garage courtesy of Howard Hughes.
Waterway Ave Parking Lot (18 Waterway Ave, The Woodlands, TX 77380)
Valet Parking is also available for $30 through The Westin Hotel.

What is Fine Craft
What is the difference between Fine Craft and Fine Art?
Fine craft refers to objects primarily functional and utilitarian and created using traditional or contemporary techniques such as pottery, weaving, woodworking, metalworking, or glassblowing. The emphasis is often on the skill and technique of the craftsperson, and the aesthetic value of the object is secondary to its function.
Fine art, on the other hand, is more focused on creating works of aesthetic value, rather than practical use. This can include painting, sculpture, printmaking, photography, and installation art, among other forms. Fine art often emphasizes individual expression and creativity, and the value of the work is largely based on its cultural, historical, and intellectual significance.
While there is some overlap between the two categories, the distinction between fine craft and fine art is often based on the intended purpose of the object, as well as the level of skill and creativity involved in its creation.
