Be A Fan
First, a verse is written about the special qualities of the individual whose character will be portrayed. The artist will recall a tree he has climbed in his youth that possesses those qualities. Then, in a unique process copper wire is hand molded and fused at high temperature to create a bronze. Metal alloys are applied, reheated, and worked like clay to create bark texture. The tree is mounted into rock and finished with resin, patinas, and/or gold leaf. The tree and verse are presented at the show.
