I am a self taught photographer who after years of being told I should do something with my photography decided to try a few art shows a few years before I retired in 2013. I am now doing regional and national art shows and love my "retirement job." I have recently moved to Southern Alabama where I can shoot year round and am slowly building my "southern" portfolio. I try to shoot unique images that look like a portal to transport you to the place where the image was shot. My greatest joy is to bring those images alive in processing. I am all about bold colors and depth in my images and put most of my images on metal where I can get more vibrant colors and an almost 3D final image which fits my style perfectly.
