Taylor Winn’s large-format, luxuriantly textured abstractions in oil, acrylic, metallic gold and silver engage viewers to experience the glint of sun and moonlight on rolling tides, breaking surf, rippling lake water, rapids, waterfalls, and the open sea.

The light-reflective quality of metallics in the water-themed paintings of Winn's Melts series captures fleeting interactions between sun, moon, wind, and water.

(1) Sapphire Sea - shimmering golden sunlit waves on a multi-hued blue sea.

(2) Niagara - my expression of the flowing waters of the iconic waterfall rendered in metallic silver with a distinct texture of ribbons to sheets of water to mist. 48 x 34.5 in.

(3) Fire Lake - captures golden sunlight and colors of a hot pink and orange sunset dancing across rippling lake waters.
