All of my artworks are made entirely of glass. Each piece is a hand-crafted original work created by cutting, sandblasting/carving, laminating and/or layering various pieces of multicolored and/or clear glass. Hand cut, and liquid resist is applied to the glass to control the sandblast treatment. No paint or coloring media is applied, the colors originate from the glass itself, and they are permanent.
The work is unusual, having both painterly aspects (dynamic flowing color), and sculptural aspects (three-dimensional relief and texture). My artwork is inspired by my love of the natural environment, and guided by the unique random patterns of color found in the glass itself.
This is a unique art form pioneered by myself.
