My process is intuitively driven, creating textiles with several slow-cloth techniques such as nuno-felting silk and cashmere to sculpt natural fibers into one of a kind clothing. Many different natural and vintage textiles meld within each garment, which is then simmered with leaves into cloth for a trans-formative process. I use the alchemy of plants such as indigo, eucalyptus, various roots, and minerals to naturally dye the vintage silk, linen, cotton, and/or cashmere. With the whimsical use of hand embroidery, beading or vintage block printing, telling a unique story that unfolds in each piece of wearable art.
